NUHA RUBY RA RUN RUN

Today is the day that experimental musician and Hackney Wick resident Nuha Ruby Ra, shares her long-awaited debut EP How To Move. Sporting an underbelly of low-slung guitar action, reminiscent of Steve Albini's playing in Shellac, it's final single 'Run Run' is a tormenting concoction of dirgy strums, metallic thrashes and an intentionally uncomfortable atmosphere. Strewn out across seven quite intense minutes, cursed saxophones wail wildly for emphasis as Nuha's ghoulish vocals haunt the piece. She explains: "Run Run is the record in a single song. It’s the epic scene where you find out the truth. The big fight happens, confessions are made, the journey’s told and you don’t know if the character is gonna live or die."
